Mike Conway will end his full-time professional racing career after this WEC season. The Toyota driver is due to make his final appearance for the team during the Monza weekend on 6–8 November, having collected two world titles and 20 WEC victories with Toyota.
Alex Lynn is listed for his first WEC appearance of the season with Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA at Barcelona on 16–18 October. The provisional entry list also leaves one Peugeot seat unconfirmed alongside Paul di Resta and Nick Cassidy.
Porsche won Petit Le Mans on 3 October with Penske’s No. 6 car, driven by Laurens Vanthoor, Kevin Estre and Matt Campbell. It was the marque’s first overall victory in this race with a prototype, following its GT-car overall win in 2015.

The FIA and ACO have agreed a ten-year extension of their World Endurance Championship partnership. The new term follows the current agreement’s expiry at the end of 2027 and runs through the end of 2037, giving the championship a longer organisational foundation.
The European Le Mans Series concludes its season at Portimão on Saturday 10 October, with 47 cars on the provisional entry list and all four class titles undecided. United Autosports and defending champion Forestier Racing by Panis are the remaining LMP2 title contenders.
