The cars are being offered individually and span more than three decades of McLaren history. The collection includes the MCL35M in which Lando Norris finished third at Monaco in 2021, and a car Brad Pitt drove during filming of Apple’s F1 movie.

McLaren has put five cars from its Formula 1 heritage collection up for sale, each offered separately. All were used on track and stayed with the team after their last races; together, they span more than three decades of McLaren history.

Lando Norris finished third in the MCL35M at the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix. The car later featured in McLaren’s one-two at Monza that year and wore its distinctive Gulf livery.

The MCL37A brings a film connection: actor Brad Pitt drove it at Circuit of the Americas during filming of Apple’s F1 movie.

The MP4/6A has a naturally aspirated V12 and links to the period when Ayrton Senna and Gerhard Berger drove for McLaren. The 2012 MP4/27A was driven by both Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton.

Tom Hartley junior is handling the sale. He says there is no time pressure; the aim is to find a suitable new owner for each car.
