Max Verstappen turned a comparison with Fernando Alonso into a joke. Asked whether he might be a younger version of the Spaniard, he replied: “Yes — and a little more handsome.”

The resemblance, Verstappen said, lies in their shared love of racing and driving different kinds of cars. He wants to enjoy racing outside Formula 1 as well; Alonso, he added, probably enjoys racing a variety of cars even more than he does.
