Carlos Sainz gave a brief reply when asked about Christian Horner’s account of a possible move to Red Bull in 2026. “It is what it is...” he said on Spanish TV programme El Chiringuito TV.
In his forthcoming autobiography _Drive_, due out on 22 October, Horner says he and Sainz met at his home to discuss a possible Red Bull switch in 2026. Sainz referred to the visit and dinner in his response but did not elaborate further.
Horner also writes that Sainz was on his wish list as a potential successor to Sergio Pérez, alongside Fernando Alonso and Charles Leclerc.
