Hadjar says Red Bull knows where to find qualifying time

Isack Hadjar ended Friday's second practice at the São Paulo Grand Prix ninth, about a second behind Kimi Antonelli's fastest time. He said Red Bull knew which direction to take before qualifying, although the approach it had tried with the car's balance had not worked.

Hadjar said the first practice had gone very well. He also said the car felt good, his day had been consistent and the long-run pace looked competitive. The main target, in his view, was a single fast lap on the soft tyre, where Red Bull still needed to find time.

He wanted Saturday morning's third practice to show whether the team had solved at least one issue, and hoped rain would not disrupt the session ahead of qualifying.
