After finishing third in both Friday sessions, Verstappen said Red Bull still had work to do and needed to find more powertrain consistency. He described the remaining work as nothing dramatic.

Max Verstappen finished third in both Friday practice sessions at the Brazilian Grand Prix, but said Red Bull still had work to do before Saturday. He linked the search for improvement to consistency in the powertrain.

In comments published on his website, Verstappen said the day had not gone badly and described the remaining work as “nothing dramatic.”

Verstappen had repeatedly complained about the gearbox’s operation during practice. Steering problems also appeared in both sessions, but he did not mention them in his assessment of Friday.
