Each team must position one car in its pit-stop position and make the other available inside the garage between 11:00 and 12:00 on Friday.

The FIA has set the format for Friday’s car presentation at the São Paulo Grand Prix: between 11:00 and 12:00, each team must position one car in its pit-stop position and make its other car available for viewing inside the garage.

If only one car will carry the major aerodynamic and bodywork components and assemblies that have not previously been run at a Competition or TCC and are intended for this event, that must be the car shown to media. The car outside the garage may be used for pit-stop practice, but must return to the same position when practice is not taking place.

In adverse weather, teams will be notified five minutes before the scheduled start that the display may take place in the competitors’ designated garage area. If it rains during the presentation, the FIA asks teams to leave the cars in position and use awnings. Media taking photographs must stay in the pit lane’s fast lane; TV crews may shoot from the working lane.
