One corner turned Nina Gademan’s third-place start into the lead. The Alpine driver went around the outside of Payton Westcott and newly crowned 2026 F1 Academy champion Alisha Palmowski at Turn 1, then built a gap and held her advantage through a Safety Car restart. She won the Feature Race in Austin for her second victory of the season.

Behind Gademan, a collision between Palmowski and Alba Larsen ended both races while they were running second and third. Westcott finished second on home soil; Natalia Granada was third, her first podium since Shanghai.

The victory moved Gademan past Emma Felbermayr into second in the drivers’ standings, with two races remaining. F1 Academy’s 2026 season ends with Round 6 in Las Vegas, November 19–21.
