The three fastest should return to the pit lane if they take Q3’s chequered flag; the top three will be weighed before interviews in Parc Fermé.
The FIA has set out the post-qualifying routine for the 2026 São Paulo Grand Prix. The three fastest drivers should return to the pit lane if they take the chequered flag at the end of Q3; the top three are weighed after leaving their cars, before interviews in Parc Fermé.
Drivers must remain fully dressed, including helmets and gloves, until they have been weighed. The designated area is restricted to team mechanics, officials, FIA pre-approved television crews and photographers; driver physios and team PR personnel are not permitted there.
After the live interviews, the drivers are led to the Top 3 and Pirelli Award photo opportunities, then to the FIA press conference. At the end of the conference, they are taken to the TV pen.
