Racing director Randy Singh said McLaren was likely to keep the full upgrade package, subject to a final review of Friday's FP2 data.

McLaren is likely to keep all its latest upgrades on the car for Saturday at the São Paulo Grand Prix, racing director Randy Singh said after Friday's second practice. Singh said the data looked good, but McLaren would review the FP2 data before making its final decision that night.

Lando Norris said he had run half of the upgrades and then the other half on Friday, with the plan to put the full package together on Saturday.
