Van der Burgt predicts Verstappen will win Mexico GP

In a preview on RacingNews365's Formula 1 podcast, Jan van der Burgt tipped Max Verstappen to win the Mexico Grand Prix, saying it could be a track where the Dutchman makes more of a difference.

Van der Burgt said Verstappen had not been outclassed in Austin and argued that a different strategy worked against him. Had that strategy paid off, he said, Verstappen would have been closer. Van der Burgt also said Verstappen was fired up after Austin and suggested that could be worth a tenth in Mexico—though, he added, the tenth could just as easily be taken away.

Van der Burgt placed Kimi Antonelli second and Lewis Hamilton third. Ruud Dimmers offered a different podium—Antonelli, Charles Leclerc and Verstappen in that order—and questioned Red Bull's pace in Mexico's slow corners.
