Fernando Alonso made a gesture towards Alex Albon a week after criticising him following an incident in the United States. RacingNews365 described it as easing any possible tension between them.

Alonso had been unhappy after Albon steered towards him. He said Albon must have forgotten that the track turned left and also criticised the standard of drivers at the back of the field.
