The FIA technical delegate says both drivers are using fifth turbochargers, beyond the 2026 allowance of four; the report to the stewards is not itself a penalty decision.

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are each using their fifth turbocharger at the São Paulo Grand Prix, beyond the four allowed for the 2026 season, the FIA technical delegate reported to the stewards in a document dated 7 November.

The report says both units will remain in use for the rest of the competition and that their use is not compliant with Article B8.2.2 b) of the 2026 Formula One Sporting Regulations. It identifies Verstappen's Red Bull Racing RB Ford and Perez's Cadillac Ferrari.

The document is a technical delegate's report to the stewards, not a stewards' decision imposing a penalty.
