Rain was forecast throughout Sunday's São Paulo Grand Prix at Interlagos, with the heaviest period expected in the morning and race temperatures below 15°C.

Rain remained a threat for Sunday's São Paulo Grand Prix, with RacingNews365's Sunday-morning update forecasting wet weather throughout the day at Interlagos.

Rain had fallen steadily overnight and was expected to intensify in the morning. The heaviest period was forecast between 9am and noon, before easing to lighter but persistent rain for the race. Saturday's heavy downpours and thunderstorms were not expected to be a factor on race day.

Temperatures reached 29-30°C during Saturday's qualifying, but Sunday's race was expected to stay below 15°C. In the cold, wet conditions, tyre warm-up could be particularly difficult.
