Gabriele Mini to replace Pierre Gasly in São Paulo practice

Mini will drive the Alpine F1 car for a second time at São Paulo, while Gasly sits out the opening hour at Interlagos.

Alpine has announced that Gabriele Mini will deputise for Pierre Gasly in the first practice session at the São Paulo Grand Prix. It will be Mini’s second run in the Alpine F1 car.

Mini made his grand prix-weekend debut in Mexico City, taking over Franco Colapinto’s A525. Gasly was still due to stand down for one session; he will do so during the first 60 minutes at Interlagos.
