The event-specific prescriptions set minimum starting pressures, expected running pressures and camber limits for slick, intermediate and wet tyres.
The FIA Formula 1 Race Director has issued tyre-operation prescriptions for the 2026 São Paulo Grand Prix, scheduled for 6–8 November. Dated 4 November, the document sets minimum starting pressures, expected stabilized running pressures and camber limits for slick, intermediate and wet tyres.
For slicks, minimum starting pressures are 27.0 psi at the front and 26.5 psi at the rear. Expected stabilized running pressures are at least 28.0 psi front and 27.5 psi rear; the camber limits are -3 degrees front and -1.75 degrees rear.
For intermediates, minimum starting pressures are 28.0 psi at the front and 27.5 psi at the rear, with expected stabilized pressures of at least 29.0 and 28.5 psi respectively. Wet tyres have lower minimum starting pressures—26.5 psi front and 25.5 psi rear—but the same expected stabilized pressures. Both categories have camber limits of -3.25 degrees front and -2.25 degrees rear.
The FIA says the prescriptions could be revised during the race weekend. Event checks will cover starting, cold and re-heat pressures, camber, maximum tyre temperatures and tyre-blanket heating times.
