Antonelli tops Brazilian GP second practice

Kimi Antonelli topped Friday’s second practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos. The new world champion, who clinched the title in Mexico last weekend, set a 1:10.763, ahead of Lando Norris and Max Verstappen.

Antonelli had led the early running on hard tyres with a 1:11.8 despite heavy bottoming on the bumpy circuit. His fastest lap came on soft tyres.

Norris finished 0.253 seconds behind Antonelli, with Verstappen another 0.006 seconds back. George Russell and Oscar Piastri completed the top five, both within a tenth of Norris.
