Kimi Antonelli says he thinks he will buy himself a car to celebrate winning the Formula 1 world championship. He told La Gazzetta dello Sport that there are a couple of cars he would like to buy. Antonelli clinched the title at last weekend’s Mexican Grand Prix, becoming the youngest champion in F1 history.

His parents have tried to teach him the value of money and want to know how and where he spends it, Antonelli said. He described himself as someone without expensive hobbies: most of his money goes on everyday things, while his main indulgence is a racing simulator at home. Cars are the exception.
