Luna Fluxa Cross will make her F1 ACADEMY debut as a Wild Card entry at the 2026 season finale in Las Vegas.
The 16-year-old moved into single-seaters this season, taking a maiden podium in the Eurocup-4 Spanish Winter Championship before contesting a full season in the F4 Spanish Championship. She also finished sixth in both the morning and afternoon sessions of this year’s F1 ACADEMY Rookie Test at Circuito de Navarra.
Her karting résumé includes the OK-N Senior title, won with six victories and a 125-point margin over her nearest rival. The result made Fluxa Cross the first woman to win an FIA international championship since Susanna ‘Susy’ Raganelli won the World Karting Championship in 1966.
Fluxa Cross joined the Mercedes-AMG F1 Junior Programme in 2022 as its first female driver. In 2024, she was selected as an F1 ACADEMY Discover Your Drive karter for the Champions of the Future Academy Program.
She said she was excited to join the F1 ACADEMY grid and called the opportunity a special experience. In Las Vegas, she will drive the #10 Visit Las Vegas car operated by Hitech in the sixth and final round of the campaign.
