The stewards found that Lewis Hamilton gained no advantage after being pushed off track while attempting to pass Car 87 at Turn 5 in the São Paulo Grand Prix.

An FIA decision dated 8 November says the stewards took no further action over an allegation that Hamilton’s Car 44 left the track at Turn 5 and gained a lasting advantage in the São Paulo Grand Prix.

After reviewing in-car video, the stewards said Hamilton was attempting to pass Car 87 when it moved right, pushing Car 44 off track to avoid a collision. They found no advantage was gained and noted that Hamilton later gave the position back. The decision identifies the rival as Car 87.

The decision distinguishes the initial allegation from the stewards’ finding: they concluded Hamilton gained no advantage and took no further action.
